CHECKrecord
The CHECKrecord system from Surfscan Technologies Ltd. gives press operators a flexible, high speed tool for monitoring the quality of printed material. Designed for the direct mail market but with applications in many other areas, the CHECKrecord system
allows the operator to quickly define multiple key areas on the printed web (such as customer names and addresses) and to display them every repeat at full press speed.
These key areas may be switched between and enlarged/zoomed instantaneously. They may also be viewed sequentially in a programmed sequence or simultaneously giving the operator ultimate confidence in the printed output. The system also supports multiple cameras, enabling front to back matching on business forms where the integrity and matching of customer information is essential.
The CHECKrecord system also permits full speed recording of the entire web surface. The recorded material may later be recalled and viewed whenever needed. A huge storage capacity ensures that the entire print run may be recorded, or if preferred,
smaller sampled recording may be taken automatically at predetermined intervals.
